Legal
Terms and Conditions
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms cover your use of peacebadejo.design, including the private project pages I set up for clients. By using the site you agree to them.
If you're a client, the contract you sign with me covers the project itself: the work, the fee, the timings and who owns what. Where that contract and these terms say different things, the contract wins.
1.Who I am
peacebadejo.design is the website of Peace Badejo, a product designer based in Birmingham, United Kingdom. “I” and “me” in these terms mean Peace Badejo.
2.Using the site
You're welcome to browse the site, link to it and share it. Please don't:
- try to get into any part of the site you haven't been given access to, including another person's project page;
- interfere with how the site works, or introduce anything harmful such as viruses;
- copy the site in bulk using automated tools;
- use the site for anything unlawful.
3.My work and content
The designs, case studies, writing, images, videos and code on this site belong to me, or are shown with the permission of the clients and companies they were made for. All rights are reserved.
You may share links to the site and quote short extracts with credit. Please ask me in writing before copying, republishing or reusing anything else.
Brand names and logos that appear in my work belong to their owners. Case studies describe past projects; the results in them are specific to those projects and are not a promise of what another project will achieve.
4.Resources, templates and downloads
Resources, templates and open-source projects linked from the site are offered as they are, to use at your own discretion. Where one is hosted elsewhere, for example on Figma, Framer or GitHub, and carries its own licence or terms, those apply to it.
5.Client project pages
Access
Your project page is private. It opens with your private link and a one-time code sent to your email address. Please keep the link to yourself, don't pass on codes, and tell me straight away if you think someone else has got into your page.
What you provide
Please make sure the details you enter are accurate, and that you have the right to share any files you upload. Don't upload anything unlawful or harmful. Uploads are limited to 20 files of up to 20 MB each.
Signing your contract
When you type your full name, tick the box and press Sign, that is your electronic signature and it has the same effect as signing on paper. A record is kept of the name you typed, the date and time, your email address and your IP address. A signed contract can't be edited by you or by me; any change needs a new written agreement between us.
Status updates
The project stage and notes on your page are there to keep you informed. They don't change what the contract says.
Closing a page
I may pause or close access to a project page to protect its security, or once a project has finished. You can ask me for a copy of your signed contract and your files at any time while I still hold them.
6.Links to other sites
The site links to other websites and services that I don't run. I'm not responsible for their content or for how they handle your information.
7.Availability and accuracy
I try to keep the site working and its content correct, but I can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. I may change, pause or remove any part of it without notice.
8.My responsibility to you
The public pages of this site are for general information. As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on what is on it.
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.
My responsibility for client work is set out in the contract for that project.
9.Privacy
How I collect and use personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
10.Changes to these terms
I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies when you use the site.
11.Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute about them. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
